Bought a used car that started having engine trouble. Tom and Robert did a great job diagnosing and fixing the problem quickly and properly. Its nice to know there are still some reputable auto repair shops around and this one is top notch.

For the last few years I've been taking my vehicles here for both minor and major repairs. These guys always give an honest price and do great work. They are all great people and I am happy to call them friends. I always highly recommend this shop to everyone I know. Thanks for everything RC. Update as of 11/28/2023: It's been six years after my original review, and I can't express enough how much we appreciate the service from this shop. Tom is an incredible guy and the best mechanic I know. He showed me the broken part and explained each step of the repair process. If you're undecided about where to take your car, this shop or another, I assure you there's no better place in the Twin Cities. Thank you, Tom, for exceeding my expectations with this repair. I'm still amazed at how well you run your shop and care for your customers. For those looking for a reliable mechanic, I highly recommend RC Automotive.
