i don't even know where to start....EVERYTHING the customer service sales person did at the Columbia Heights location was the worst and i immediately left & went 4 blocks away & got the job done for half the price...I could see thru this guy immediately.....All i can say is BEWARE !!!! check around because this place will take you to the cleaners.......Notice how you can't leave them a review on Google ?? ..they manipulate everything including google reviews ...in actuality .their google review rate is probably a 2 out of 5... DO NOT TRUST THEM !!!!!

Had a vehicle in for service. one of the techs actually changed the wrong tire when i picked up vehicle. no big deal, let tech swap the correct tire. A week later, we got a big snow here in the twin cities. after a slippery drive, decided to swap my aftermarket tires and rims out at home to my all seasons. I changed the rear tires swiftly, i go to the front driver side tire. i notice, i had used a little more force to loosen the first lug nut. i continue on with 2nd lug nut, after giving it a little more torque to crack it loose and after i got the lug loosened and off, the lug nut cracked at the tip. I brought it back to discount tire store off Central where they had previous tightened my lugs and rims the week prior. The manager treated me as if I was lying to him, accusing me of using improper equipment and not knowing how to change a tire. Very unprofessional attitude, did nothing to help me in anyway except tell me i can file a claim. I have spent thousands of dollars with discount tire company in the past 5 years. I received great service in the past, but please beware of this shop. The manager has zero integrity & lacks professionalism. Manager quoted we have never made mistakes with lug nuts in the ten years I have been manager. Mistakes happen and I just wanted them to help me with the issue that i stumbled upon. Going forward, i will cancel my discount credit card and i will start using another tire company such as Big O tires, or another tire company. I refuse to spend any money with this company going forward. Manager definitely needs more customer service training.
