So, I FINALLY had the chance to take the two hour drive up to Duluth to drop in to S & Js with the intent of spending quite a bit of money but, alas, I left empty-handed because Mercedes whose last day was clearly today made my experience truly horrible. I love going to local small businesses and putting my money back into the community but despite literally falling in love with several needed pieces, I could not stomach this store clerk. She was seriously the most rude, uncaring, most condescending short-timer I have ever encountered in my 50 years on this planet. Despite it being this clerks last day and despite there being some quite lovely things, I will not be coming back mostly because of Mercedes. What a waste of a drive.

Wow this is such a cool store. They have such a unique variety of things. Jackie is so bubbly and friendly. And she said they get new stuff in all the time so I will be back often. It is a really unique store with so many one of a kind items.

Great selection of products at great prices with great friendly service - what more could you ask for? Extremely fair in pricing and procedures, excellent communication. I was very satisfied with my purchases and I enjoyed chatting with Jackie. Store is well organized, as are their estate sales. I look forward to visiting the store as new merchandise arrives and discovering new treasures at their estate sales!
