Health and safety WARNING.. Staffing shortage, unable to maintain rooms. All areas of room noticeably dirty. Staff overwhelmed but very understanding and polite. MANAGER, apologized for the inconvenience but said we cant do anything and ended the call. A Quick clean to make manageable/understandable not available. Terrible experience. Safety: No bed bugs but everything else you dont want. Would never treat anyone with this service

This was our first stay and my family was appalled by the lack of care to provide a clean and welcoming room. The floors were not vacuumed and the bathroom and shower were dirty. (We noticed hair and debris in the shower and on the floor.) We were weary the bed linens were not changed so we inspected them. When guests lack confidence to this level, management/owners need to take action. My husband let the front desk staff know our room was not clean and they responded with Well look into it. Im not sure what they were implying. We werent lying. After spending all day at a dance competition we wanted to relax and sleep. The hotel did not check in with us, clean the room, offer to switch rooms or apologize. We had a reservation for four but there were not many towels, no hand soap, limited coffee, no creamer, and very few utensils. Items were not restocked. It was an inconvenience but shows the overall lack of customer care. After reading other guest experiences, its clear the hotel has significant staffing challenges. I hope they can turn things around. The location is perfect but if the room isnt clean, it ruins the stay and desire to rebook in the future. Unfortunately, we have another trip booked but we are looking for alternative lodging. We arent confident things will improve before our next trip. Rooms: We stayed in an interior room with no windows and two exit doors. Upon walking in there was a strong smell. My husband thought it was cleaning solution but it smelled damp/mushy to me. Of course after an hour we adjusted. The hotel needs renovating and the furnishings/decor could be updated. The price was fair and the room was large. The bathroom needs work. The wallpaper, tile, wall and ceiling were damaged and repaired in many places but not all. Some areas could also be poor workmanship. There were no USB ports which seems to be a standard in most hotels. We could hear people in the room next to us laughing and talking at all hours likely due to the structure of the building/vents. I wish the sound didnt carry so easily to our room. It was not a restful night of sleep.

Noteworthy details: Upon arriving at check in time, we were told that room wasn't ready and they would call us... 2 hours later we checked on status and finally got in. Room is large, no windows. Bathroom was filthy. Dirty wash cloth left from previous guests. Along with a dirty floor, a pile of white powder that looked like detergent was spilled on bathroom floor and not cleaned up. Toilet had a dirty ring around bowl. Looked like it hadn't been scrubbed for weeks. Previous guests leftover food was also left in the room and not thrown away by staff. The kicker was, we called to let staff know about the dirty bathroom and was hung up on after staff member heard the complaint and just commented that discount wouldn't be given. We didn't ask for a discount...just for room to be cleaned. We then left for dinner, expecting they would service the room while out. Didn't happen. We went to the check in counter to complain, as we wanted clean towels too. We encountered a man behind the desk who after hearing our complaints and our frustration told us to leave. Told us that we were drunk. He was the most unprofessional employee I've ever met. Horrible customer service! NONE of our concerns received any attention nor were resolved. A discount was given because of the room not being ready for a couple hours at check in time. It's pretty sad that as a paid guest you can't expect a clean room or towels and get yelled at for bringing it to the attention of staff. Others staying there also complained about their dirty bathroom. New staff needed!

Oh, where do I even begin with my delightful experience at the suites to start off my engagement weekend? Well, let's start with the charming aroma that greeted me upon entering the room an odor so enchanting, it made me question my life choices. And would you believe it? They even provided a special treat: just enough toilet paper for a half-hearted attempt at cleanliness. How considerate! But wait, there's more! The sheets were adorned with a lovely shade of yellow, adding a touch of character to the room. And who needs clean sheets anyway, right? It's all about the experience, they say. And let's not forget the four-hour wait for a room, which was clearly worth it for the privilege of being upgraded to a jacuzzi suite. Oh, the luxury! But what's this? Dog hair in the jacuzzi? How quaint! And of course, the pice de rsistance: a dishwasher that not only emits an aroma reminiscent of a landfill but also doubles as a carpet sprinkler. Talk about multi-functional!And let's not overlook the state-of-the-art entertainment system a TV so small, you practically need a magnifying glass to see it from the bed. But hey, who needs entertainment when you're busy marveling at the wonders of dirty dishes and leaky appliances? In conclusion, I must commend The Suites for providing such a memorable experience. It's not every day you come across a hotel that truly excels in the art of neglecting basic hygiene and customer satisfaction. Bravo!
