I love coming to exercise at this studio! All of the instructors are knowledgeable, dedicated and supremely gifted. I've met more smart natural leaders in this relatively small space than I have in any other comparable studio or gym...ever! There is a genuine spirit of collegiality and supportive non-competitiveness. As an exerciser on the other side of 65, I am most definitely a devotee of The Bar Method approach and philosophy. I have seen the results in myself in terms of strength, agility and balance. I love having a place to go where it is safe to challenge myself--and be challenged--to keep growing in fitness. The Bar Method stood out to me because the attention to physiology and collaboration with actual physical therapists. I have a background in dance (long ago), yoga, and other exercise. I'm attempting to return to physical activity to build strength after a forced hiatus due to health issues. I have to be extremely careful in how I exercise, and so far Bar Method hasn't caused any issues. It's a place where you will be challenged, but it's low impact and modifiable if you have physical/health issues that make exercise tricky. The instructors are knowledgeable and helpful, and the atmosphere is friendly and encouraging. Give it try! Especially if you need a little extra care in your journey back to strength.

I have been a Bar Method Fan for 10 years! I have attended Bar Method Classes in Hermosa Beach, San Francisco, Chicago, Highland Park, Scottsdale, NYC, Philadelphia & Boston. Without a doubt the best instructors are right here in Minneapolis! I love the fact that there is a group of us who have been here from the start and are still here. The Bar Method is a part of our lives and even when life takes an unexpected direction and we may temporarily stray, we always return! Thank you to all of the wonderful staff and instructors that make me feel like I have a true Bar Family :)
