My house needed vermiculite insulation removed this spring 2023, and I thought it was supposed to be in a safe manner, but the 2 guys who came out were removing attic pieces and tracking them all over my house. They were in & out so much from the attic and there was no real seal or barrier from the rest of the house. Now I'm freaking out for my children's health with asbesto exposure. They didn't provide much for air quality testing afterwards.

Envirobate did a mold encapsulation in my HVAC unit at the recommendation of my condo association. More mold was discovered later on and two different mold inspectors noted that. One of the inspectors also noted issues with the encapsulation and talked about it in detail in his report. I tried to get a refund based on the fact that mold was still an issue and that a licensed mold inspector noted issues with the encapsulation, but it took a while to hear back from them on the issue and they still refused to refund any money even after I'd sent the reports documenting the findings. Some of the people my family and I dealt with were not always as friendly regarding this. For a person like myself who gets very sick from mold, this was hard and quite frustrating. If anyone is at all mold sensitive, I would not recommend getting an encapsulation. I respect that Envirobate works to follow industry standards, but industry standards are also not where they should be when it comes to people who have mold mycotoxin illness.

It was extremely stressful to have asbestos found in my lower level after flood damage. Having your house torn up is no fun. The guys from EnviroBate took away so much of that stress! They were so understanding, so professional, and so considerate of my time. The repeatedly accommodated my need to access various areas of the house in the midst of their work. They worked around multiple issues at my home and were so careful with my animals. One guy (Darin) even fixed my garage door and carried down a very heavy container of food for my animals. He also asked if their equipment would scare the animals and had me monitor the animals while he turned on various tools to make sure the animals wouldn't freak out. These guys are great and I'd highly recommend them!
