Colonial Inn Extended Stay By OYO New Ulm

What can I say, the hot water was cold, the cold hot, the room heater might as well had been a mouse in the wall with a book of matches. The comforter on the bed was the same ones Hawkeye and Pierce used on MASH at the 4077. Yeah, if id just got out of the shu. This would be heaven.

Rooms are small but nice, the manager there was very sweet and gave me a lot of hospitality. Definitely a nice spot to stay if you're passing through.

I worked here for a little bit however I had to quit due to the fact it is a nasty place to work. So much black mold all over in all rooms. The place is way overpriced for what you get. The sheets are stained nothing matches, the pillows are stained and need to be replaced. They fix things half fast. The rooms are not worth staying at. With the black mold and many other things I recommend you stay at another hotel. This place is more expensive than any other hotel or motel and they are nice and clean. They also have breakfast at all other places here in New Ulm. The other review was put up by the lady who runs the place. Rooms: nasty. That's all that needs to be said. Nearby activities: This place is in a good location close to a gas station and liquor store Safety: It's not safe due to the black mold and many other elements. Walkability: You can walk to the gas station and liquor store, they are only a couple blocks away. Food & drinks: They don't have any. Noteworthy details: If you do decide to stay, look under the bed, look in the shower, pull sheets up and see what you would be sleeping on and check the pillows. The pillows are very old and stained. I wouldn't stay here even if it was the last place to stay.
