Its like you stepped back in time. You walk into the cafe and you feel like you have stepped into 1940. The staff is friendly and the food is good. I would recommend this place for a nice breakfast and chat. Very relaxed atmosphere.

Fantastic restaurant with awesome food and great service. Everything we have ever ordered has been great and served with a smile. The owner walks the floor making sure all is well and makes everyone feel welcome.

Quick update. This is the first time I've been here under new ownership. I still liked it and as usual I got my favorites, the War Eagle sandwich Chicken breast with provolone, grilled onions and peppers with the best pesto I've ever eaten. I'd love if they offered pasta with this pesto, that's how good it is. Now the downside, they used to shred the white meat chicken and now it's now more looking like chicken tenders, however, not chicken tenders. How do I know? One of the pieces of chicken on my sandwich had a big thick piece of flabby skin on it. Not crisp just rubbery and yuck. To me there's nothing worse. It tells me the quality of preparation is not there. The fries that came with it were just not good. There were clearly newer and older ones mixed together. You know that dried out inside of the fry that is barely visible. Yes there were many of those inedible ones. It is indicative of taking shortcuts maybe to save cost but it was less quality. For my second dish I ordered the small Mississippi Fries (Fries with cheese, gravy and topped with pot roast). The picture here is the small to go order. The only thing that is different is that previously they had the pot roast in the gravy and it was poured evenly. They included a ton of pot roast but because the pot roast has been sitting separate from the gravy and placed on top of gravy, some of the flavor that used to be in this dish is missing. It's still good but the pot roast is a little more dried out from not being mixed with the gravy. The good thing is I won't even notice the dried out fries in this dish.

Hey, Donna! Thanks for the lovely review. We appreciate your time to reflect our business and menu items. We take pride in our friendly service and delicious cooking!4 years ago, we took tuna & chicken salad off our menu due to lack of requests for it. We currently still do not serve tuna on our menu, so I’m not sure of that situation. Thank you for stopping by! Take care.
