In my experience Eric needs a new career and the woman answering the phone is a bad human. Eric doesn't know how to fix a fridge do yourself a favor and find another company. He ordered parts and gave it his best try and tge fridge was Not fixed. The tech behind him had to buy another round of parts and I was told the system had multiple holes 0 stars Service: Refrigerator/freezer repair

This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. They showed up on November 19th to inspect my dishwasher and diagnosed it. They said they would order the part and get back with me in a couple days, after 4 calls and messages throughout a week and not once did they reach out or answer my calls. After no response I called whirlpool, who my warranty was under they scheduled a technician for December 18th who proceeded to call me a half hour late to say he won't show up because he won't get paid. They dont deal with that warranty he said. After a few more phone calls I had confirmed that this technician was from repair king and had wrote on his notes that I was late. I was at home from before 12p.m. to well into the evening and he had never showed up. He said to call a company called diamond which was simply a wild goose hunt. I'm here to say this company offers absolutely horrible service to its customers from my experience. Service: Dishwasher repair

Our ice maker went out and was under warranty. After another company failed to repair it when a claim was placed in July, our warranty company notified Repair King STL on September 30th. We were able to call them after they failed to reach out in the time period our warranty company asks vendors to communicate with customers. They originally sent out an older gentleman who was kind and considerate as he diagnosed our issue. Now the wait . . . . Multiple phone calls to Repair King until finally, we hear from our warranty company that parts were not even ordered by Repair King until December 8th. Because of the lack of urgency and timeliness on Repair King STL I had to make several phone calls inquiring about our parts. I will say the lady who works in the office is very professional and courteous on the home. The appointment was set up for last Wednesday, and the repairman no-showed. I called Wednesday evening and texted . . no response, phone call Thursday . . . no response. . . Phone call Friday . . . . no response. Instead, the guy did grace us with his presence by showing up unannounced on Friday afternoon. In all honesty, the repairman seemed like a gentle giant and we had a good conversation about area sports. The repairman took one look and said he didn't know how to fix it and would bring back another guy on Monday who knows what he is doing. Monday the same guy shows up and says no worries he watched a youtube video on how to fix it. The same refrigerator he moved with no issue on Friday now seems to be an issue. I came in from outside as he is using brute strength rocking it back and forth scratching the floor for 36+ inches. I tell him he is scratching the floor and he responds, "This F*&*^^ is heavy." I stayed calm and informed him he would need to call a supervisor. His response, "She is going to be p%^&ed" When asked for clarification, he stated, "your wife." Once he had the supervisor on the phone, the supervisor asks why he even moved the refrigerator since it is accessible without moving the refrigerator. He says he will call his insurance company the next day and will get back to the customer. I received a call from the company the following days who said we signed a waiver, and it protects them from the customer seeking any damages. He stated because there was previous damage to the floor (one chip), which I was transparent about, it is considered secondary damage. He states that if it had been a wall or the repairman knocked things off the counter, he would have been responsible. In the end, I gave Eric White, owner of Repair King STL, an invitation to come to my home to see the damage for himself and he refused. He asked why I didn't just move the refrigerator and what I would have done. He also mentioned that the repairman was in training. Before I could complete my answer and tell him I would have used the rollers (commons sense), emptied more items out of the fridge to make it lighter, or removed the doors for accessibility, he just continuously interrupted me. He was only interested in saying no and had zero interest in seeking an amicable resolution. I am posting in hopes to protect others from a company that provides a service outside the range of professional manner or quality. I had a few people ask me why I chose this company. The fact is, I did not. The icemaker was covered under warranty, which resulted in the warranty company selecting Repair King STL. Very rarely do I feel I was completely wronged or treated unfairly, but this one leaves a sick feeling knowing someone was in a position to make this right and chose not to stand behind the quality of service they say they provide. See the issue here is that we did sign a release of liability. When you sign such documents you sign in good faith that the person requesting the signature will work in good faith to take great care not to damage your home. This was not the case and instead, Repair King STL acted in a careless manner with zero regard for our home. Service: Refrigerator/freezer repair
