DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LANDLORD-CATHY BUERK. I am a tenant in Cathy Buerk's (BOBCAT INVESTMENTS LLC) house at 140 Reavis Place, Webster Groves, MO. 63119; for 7 months, paying a significant monthly rent. The house had no working stove, hot water for the first 3 weeks; the heating and cooling unit is 40 years old and does not work. It is now January, my house is 48 degrees, as the unit was shut down by a H&C company, because the unit was emitting Carbon Monoxide in my house, which has made me very sick the past couple of months. Once the Carbon Monoxide issue was identified, it made sense why I have been feeling so ill. Cathy Buerke-landlord is unethical, dishonest and just creepy; I have cameras in my house for my pet, the camera has caught the landlord- Cathy Buerk numerous times in my house when I am not home-no garage, so, she knows when I am not home (no permission was granted). Neighbors have seen her enter my house; one of the neighbors told me Cathy Buerk entered her house 2 time without permission-this neighbor doesn't know Cathy Buerk and had to warn Cathy Buerk, next time the Webster Police will be called on Cathy Buerk). l had to report her to the Webster Groves Building Commissioner who has sent a letter after calling her (Buerk never responded!). The Building Commissioner has offered Cathy Buerk Options: 1. She replaces the Heating Unit, or Option 2. Webster Groves will SHUT DOWN THE HOUSE- NO ONE CAN LIVE AT 140 REAVIS PL. WEBSTER GROVES UNTIL THE UNIT IS REPLACED; SO, NO RENT FOR HER. I had to hire an attorney and I have to rent out a room at a different location that provides warmth. Cathy Buerke owns other properties in Webster Groves (604 Fair Oaks Avenue, Webster Groves, MO 63119: 7306 Brunswick Avenue, Shrewsbury, MO 63119; 1355 Trelane Avenue St. louis MO. 63126). The other tenants have experienced the same unethical practices. A couple of weeks ago. St. Louis had when chills -30 to-40 degrees and Cathy Buerke offered me firewood for the fireplace for warmth; I asked her the last time this 70-year-old house had the fireplace cleaned, she said. "Never been cleaned"! She will collect your rent and fix nothing with NO REGARD to your well-being. The previous tenant, before me was so physically sick, because of the house condition, she left the house, leaving her property behind, just to get away from CATHY BUERK. My neighbors have told me ALL Cathy Buerk's tenants have complained about the SAME ISSUES, or craziness living in her house. The pic below was left from the St. Louis Heating & Cooling company that shut down the unit, because of the CARBON MONIXIDE from the holes in the coils-pipes inside the furnace has been blowing inside my house! I have been sick here shortly after moving in; I'm never sick. I have attached a couple of pics. Robert Buerk is Cathy Buerk's husband.

Never could keep an appointment no matter how many times we confirmed. Even when we said we lived over an hour away they tell us last minute, push it off, then cancel which put us in rush hour traffic going home. We had to reach out to someone else to get the signing done.

Carolyn and Gretchen were absolutely wonderful.They were always on point and reassuring. Sometimes we would get frustrated and overwhelmed. But after talking to one or both of these ladies they calmed us with kind words. They were always available when we had a question or concern. They are very knowledgeable about the market and know their stuff. I strongly recommend these two for all your home buying needs. Thank you Ladies for helping us get into the home we wanted.
