    My agent Carolyn Bell who just happens to be the agency manager is the most professional agent I've ever had she answers all my questions in a timely manner, and even though sometimes the answer is not what I want to hear it is what needs to be said. She treats me like family!

    I would not recommend this agency to anyone after the way I was treated. In September, my neighbors tree fell on my car. Their homeowners insurance is through this agency. I had to call up there to file a claim. I was transferred to their agent CAROLYN BELL. The way she handled it was very unprofessional. At first she was telling me that she told my neighbors because the tree had green leaves it meant the tree was healthy and that my neighbors would not be held liable for the damages & stated that I would have to prove that this tree was rotten for them to be liable. Which is understandable, however she did not advise their client (my neighbor) to file a claim like my own car insurance agent was telling me they should be doing since it was their tree on their property. To my disbelief , she made the comment well Ill go ahead and just tell them to file the claim so we can just deny it. So yes, I disconnected the call as that comment made me furious during this hardship. And to know this was coming from the agency manager is completely unacceptable. 4 months later, I get an email that I have won the arbitration case & my neighbors are now responsible for the damages. I called Hometown Agency back to request to speak with CAROLYN BELL. I was transferred to her, in which i spoke very calmly and stated that I did not like how she handled the situation and explained how I felt that was very rude and unprofessional. She went on to call me unprofessional for what Im not sure? Of course I was upset but i was not yelling nor cursing & I asked to speak to someone above her which she said she could provide the information for. One moment later she says this conversation is dead and abruptly ended the call. I called back and requested the information again, spoke with Danielle. She placed me on hold & then disconnected the call as well. I continued to call back several times , each time my call was answered and then hung up on. I am completely shocked that a agency with such good reviews treats people like this.
