        We are grandparents raising our grandchild. Our grandson was displaying many behaviors and was an angry child. While I did not see the diagnosis or the vision at first, Andreas patience, therapy and gentle recommendations (including a great book) changed everything for us. We now have a happy boy who is doing well in school and social settings and loves Ms. Andrea so much he is not sure he is ready to pause treatment.

        I love Peck Counseling so much. She has not only helped with my deep seeded PTSD issues but calmly and expertly handles any issues that pop up, that completely render me useless. She's also amazing with my kids anxiety issues. Plus she has great "projects" that are fun but help work through things in a constructive way. Thanks to her I'm honestly happy, for the first time ever, with the person I am.

        I have been meeting with Andrea for about 6 months and I have already felt a big difference in my day to day. In this short but valuable time, Andrea has given me the tools to face my current concerns as well as helping me with lingering issues from the past. Andrea is very open minded, comforting and welcoming. She has definitely restored my faith in therapy. I am very excited to see what the future holds with our journey together.

      Andrea provides therapy services to children, teens, families, and adults using evidence-based interventions to help clients impacted by trauma. Andrea a is, Licensed Specialist Social Worker(KS), Licensed Clinical Social Worker(MO) and is trained in the following: Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing(EMDR), Registered-Play Therapist(RPT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(TF-CBT), Autoplay, and Theraplay. Andrea's previous work history: The Rose Brooks Center as a Children and Family Therapist, at Voices of Courage Children's Advocacy Center as a Therapist, and Creative Connections, LLC as a Therapist. Andrea provides a playful, compassionate and brave space for clients to work through hard experiences at their own pace.
