    BED BUGS! THIS PLACE HAS BED BUGS! STAY AWAY! It has been a week since my stay and bites are still developing (pretty typical with bed bug bites). Stay anywhere but here unless you like potentially bringing home bed bugs.

    I noticed some sort of tiny bugs, like maybe fleas, showed up and crawling around on the kitchen table after I had set up my laptop for a while. I was moved to a different room on the other side of the hotel per my request. Later that night I had ants on the bathroom vanity of the new room. When I threw the covers back over the side of the bed I slept on the next morning, a cockroach scampered up the headboard. I won't be back there again. Staff was pleasant. Rooms: The rooms are not in great shape. Need some repairs.

    0 stars for the hotel! 3 stars for the young lady at front desk! She needs to find a better place to work! Why is this hotel even open? Why is it allowed to operate within the HILTON brand when it is NOT within Hilton standards! This place is literally in the "bottom of the barrel" category! I am a frequent traveler both Professionally and personally. I'm also a Hilton Honors member and I have never seen it so bad! Drove 7 hrs from another state for a funeral in STL. Kayla at front desk was very pleasant. First room smelled like Chemicals. SECOND room had blood on pillows and splatter on the floors. I took 1 of the pillows back down to front desk and she assigned a 3rd room! THIRD room smelled very smokey! Kayla offered to go find an acceptable room herself and would give me 1 free night. She came back and confirmed a room. I then pulled my luggage upstairs for the FOURTH TIME! The room appeared fine enough to sleep in UNTIL I laid on the bed and saw the ceiling and the walls! DIRTY! I ignored them because I was simply done and just want to rest! HOWEVER when I went into the bathroom....I HAD to call Kayla upstairs and showed her everything! Bunches of human hair! Booty stain on toilet seat!!!!!! Toilet paper pasted inside the toilet! Grimy Dirt Ring inside the bath tub! Blown light bulb! Trash behind chair! I am such a relaxed and understanding person! All I want is great service and a CLEAN ROOM! It's been 3 months and they still have not refunded my money! Hilton needs to address all of these complaints. This is just absurd!!!

    I've stayed in a lot of hotels for work. This was one of the worst. Staff was nice and friendly but that was it. Room wasn't ready until well after 430 so check in took nearly an hour. Room door was falling off the hinges and I had to hold it up and slam it to shut it. Many broken fixtures in the room, walk in shower stool had black crap all over the underside as well. And the exterior door was right beside our room and would slam closed so hard the wall vibrated. I sleep very hard and was woken up multiple times to what sounded like someone breaking out door down. Stained carpet and very used room as well. Did seem clean at least. Oh no other rooms available and the price wasn't what the call center quoted either. Was too tired from traveling to try somewhere else. Will definitely be staying at the holiday inn from now on. Better everything every time I've stayed at one. Including better variety of breakfast.
