Room lights were a bit dim, but was nice space. Nearby activities: Great location and the room was quiet.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years. The location is great and the staff is friendly, but the conditions of the rooms are terrible. Multiple stains on the carpet. The couch was so dirty we wouldnt sit on it. The desk chair was torn and had foam coming out of the seat. Management/ownership needs to invest in the terrible condition of the carpets and furnishings. It is sad to see the deterioration of the building. Rooms: Very poor condition

The location and staff are great! The pool, fitness center and parking garage are superb. Our room was very spacious, but absolutely disgusting, as was the hallway. Incredibly dated furniture and carpets that had several stains, including one that looked like blood. I don't know if the entire hotel is this horrid, but our room and floor were really bad. Smelled like a seedy motel, and my allergies were triggered. If you want to experience time travel and stay at a place from the 80's, this is your place. Bar closes early, even though there was an NHL hockey game across the street, and the restaurant is closed permanently. Edit: Note to owner. Your reply is patronizing and cookie cutter. We have a yearly conference in St. Louis with 25K people in the The Dome at America's Center. Get your business together and up your game. I could recommend this place to hundreds of conference attendees, but I won't. Not with your terrible hotel and pathetic response to my review.

Great stay. Very friendly front staff and security was very laid back and hospitable. Rooms were as expected for the price. About $100 a night for a king bed in downtown St. Louis. Right in front of various stadiums, transportation hubs, and more. Only complaint was the pool out of order and the bathroom curtains were very thin, water would leak out the shower every time. Perfect if all you need is a place to stay for a night. Felt safe in the area and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in St. Louis!

I seriously dont understand how anyone could leave more than 2 stars on this place. We were just passing through St. Louis on a road trip, the Hyatt was booked up so we used this as our backup because the photos looked pretty good and the pricing was similar. However upon arriving I realized its in one of the worst parts of town. They have private parking which costs a whopping $25 per night. Theres no free breakfast, the bar closes when it feels like it I went an hour before they closed and couldnt even get a salad. Theres no breakfast close at all except a tiny cafe downstairs which barely has any food. The rooms dont even have windows! Most of the hotel is outdated and very ran down looking. Most of the furniture in the rooms looks like its from old horror movies. Absolutely hideous elevators. They should be charging no more than $60 per night for this place, I paid $135 which is a crime! Im only leaving 2 stars because the hotel staff were friendly and helpful and my car didnt get stolen/broken into. Complete dump with filthy rooms. The building itself has incredible architecture and has massive potential if only a competent and wealthy chain bought them out.
