Started working here because I was excited about getting into the medical field and being able to help people that are on hospice and who are suffering from dementia or Alzheimer's. The training initially was good, and then would shift back and forth between teachers, and the entire lesson would be overhauled and changed at a moment's notice. Schedules weren't really explained, would see my schedule take a picture of it at the beginning of it being written then see a certain day crossed out with pencil and replaced with pin on a day I clearly wasn't supposed to work; mind you the schedules were printed so it was clear that somebody did this purposely by themselves on their own accord. Was threatened by the manager that if I didn't come in on a day that I wasn't scheduled that I would face consequences or be fired. I had never missed a day up until that point, I refused and called upper management or their corporate office, and then they changed their tone. I don't think that that manager works there anymore from what I've heard from former employees. Other than that, there are a few good people that work there that really care about your loved ones and residents that are there, but most of them don't. They'll make fun of them, leave them in their feces overnight, refuse to wash or help them. Yell at them, make fun of them. But the worst was the management. They were rude, couldn't care less about the people that they had working for them and didn't care about employee retention. I quit after the schedule change which was clearly done maliciously or to force me into doing something that I wasn't supposed to with threats of losing my opportunity. Unless there has been a complete overhaul of management and the way that this facility is ran, I would never bring a loved one here or ever think of working here. Remember that most of the nurses that are working at these facilities are not actually employees, they work through third party apps and websites they come there knowing that they're going to get a big check because the facility is short-staffed, and they do not care about your loved ones at all because they will probably never see them again.

Recently was there and work a shifted male nurse signed my timesheet and messed it up I asked could he fill out another one so my work log wouldnt get declined. He caught an attitude with me so I left out and he ran out and asked what was my name multiple times I didnt give it to him because you shouldve knew my name it was on the paper. He was so rude

I really dont have problems at this facility. I usually have a decent ratio, all the supplies I need and a good report. My issue is they have RAs on the floor (students in their cna class) by themselves with their own workload just as heavy as the rest of the cnas. Thats not okay theyre not fully trained on how to handle a skilled workload by themselves therefore other cnas have to provide alot more assistance and basically train them, thats their teachers job!

I was scheduled for a shift. Canceled after 11pm (I was obviously sleeping so I did not see the email). Which means I woke up with the intention of going to work. I was scheduled for this shift all week. This could have been canceled days ago. They have favorites and dont care about anyone else. No thank you! That was the last straw for this facility.

Recent rehab for 91 year old mother... My biggest complaints are with management staff and maintenance department. Prior to my mother falling and needing rehab to get up walking around..I had no previous experience dealing with any facilities It seems the management staff assumes a person knows the process I I didn't..my mother was taken from Mercy South to the facilityby medical transport... A $500 ride for a few miles..but she couldn't walk .not a strike on DelmarHered what they do not tell you Mark their clothes .. I planned on doing her laundry and it wasn't marked .. I did not ask them to do her laundry... But they did ..and it was misplaced Ok .I will take the blame As time grew closer to the insurance coverage being cut off..her physical therapy was almost non existent Remember.. she went for rehab Then I got a call from mom on a Monday .. she tested positive for COVID..then a nurse called me to say the same thing...great .. Now .. the facility director calls . Richard..the Dr has proceeded orders for your Oh...she tested positive for COVID. are you aware? Is the Dr .No Her answer from the Dr . COVID test is not a reason to keep her her She stayed on my dime even though no symptoms and they refused to test for 10 days During the quarantine..she received no physical therapy and actually has lost progress After being home for 3 weeks she had to return to the hospital and will be going somewhere else for physical therapy.. It's not the worker bees at I would not go there
