My Aunt had hip and knee replacement. She went to Southgate for rehab both times. She had a wonderful experience. Nurses did a great job with her and physical therapy worked her hard so she could get back to her regular life!

Your nurses most of the time where sitting in the hall on their phone. When I ask for something it would take half hour to sometimes 2 hrs. I was at green park and they were terrible but I thing your facility is even worse. My daughter and granddaughter stayed one whole day just to see for themselves and they agreed with me. That's y they took me out of there 3 days. Will never recommend your place.

I assisted a resident at the long term care facility for 5-1/2 years. During that time I found that the employees were more than willing to help us with any issues that came up and truly cared about the residents there. Many problems came up for them with Covid and they were able to ride through it and continue to do so. The administrative people are always willing to lend a hand no matter what the circumstances are and the aides and nurses were alway helpful to get what was needed and wanted. I found that the social workers were friendly and caring and helped me greatly with any problem. The dietary employees were always willing to change up meals so she would eat. The administrator was kind and considerate and stepped in when needed to see that everything was done. The activity employees were always so nice to check in on her and see if she wanted to participate in any activities (she especially loved playing poker and they always made sure she could attend). I made several friends there with the employees and I will never forget what they did for me and for her up till the day she passed. She also made many friends with the employees and every day she was greeted with many smiles. I plan to continue to visit from time to time as there are many other residents that I enjoy visiting with. I have to say it takes a village to care for the elderly living there and that is exactly what Bethesda Southgate is...a caring village that pulls together to make sure the residents are cared for and happy!
