St Agnes Home

I am an ongoing volunteer for various functions at St Agnes Home for the past several years. I have always been impressed with how attentive and caring the staff and nuns are to the residents. I also know multiple residents who live there and they all speak very highly of the care they receive. The Catholic environment, caring staff and overall setting at St Agnes is a definite plus when one considers the facility they choose for their loved one.

I have the pleasure of seeing every senior living community in the St Louis area and helping families find the right one that meets their needs, preferences and budget. St Agnes Home is a wonderful place - there is a spirit of kindness and service amongst the entire staff and they deliver on their promise of delivering the highest level of care for their residents. In todays difficult labor market, St Agnes figures a way to meet and exceed their residents expectations. Great jobgreat place!

St. Agnes Home is a special place. Its more like a family than a facility. There is a reason this home has been around for 90 years. The Sisters infuse faith and love. There is a respect and reverence for the elderly they serve. The home is immaculate. The staff and nurses are kind, thorough in their care and friendly. Special accommodations were made for my father in the dining area, and they strive to always do their best. I sleep well at night knowing he is being cared for physically and spiritually.

Finding an extended care facility for a loved one is a difficult task. I have visited numerous places over the past few years and talked to countless family members who have placed a parent in an assisted care facility. How does one find the right place? St Agnes is the right place for my Mom. She has received loving care from the nursing staff as well as attentive and timely responses to her needs. The Sisters are incredible ; kind, concerning, welcoming and loving. There are no bells and whistles such as large chandeliers and ornate furniture as in some newer places that have a hotel feeling. The feeling at St Agnes is more like home: there are beautiful pictures and antiques, extremely clean hallways and rooms., a gorgeous chapel and a faith filled community. My mom was very resistant to moving from the safety and comfort of her own home. Incredibly she adapted quickly and calls St Agnes her home. My family and I are so grateful to the Sisters and Staff, relieved that our Mother is safe, cared for and content.
