        Was transferred to mercy during labor from a midwife center under Dr Wolfe (who was amazing) , unfortunately Dr Wolfe got off shift and Dr Stanczyk ended up being my dr for delivery. He did not communicate what he was doing. Did things that were unnecessary and things that we didnt want! without asking or providing any information, just because it was HIS method and how HE does it. When we asked questions he was very arrogant in responding. Did not follow our birth plan even when there was no medical reason not to. All and all made for a very disappointing and frustrating delivery and made recovery for me more difficult.

        Never feel rushed, I realize Mercy is somewhat understaffed, sometimes there is a wait-- babies don't make appointments. He always has a smile and I feel a great rapport with him. He not only treats, but he is also preventative.
