        Wonderful park with nice lawns and huge cottonwood trees. The outdoor raquetball facility is cool but needs a restoration. It wouldn't difficult to add a ceiling and enclose the courts. Doing so would also improve energy efficiency in the main basketball court area where we play table tennis. Our local table tennis league decided to use the cities program and facility located on yhe East side of the park. Membership fees are reasonable. By the way, the city has recently attended to some of the buildings' interior needs to improve its efficiency. However the lighting inside their indoor court isn't very good and the court floor needs a new top coat because it is a slick sanded finish.

        It's a decent park, but it also seems to have it's share of homeless. But that is to be expected being so close to downtown. It's a good park for walking as it is large with a sidewalk all the way around the perimeter.
