    You know that I got ripped off feeling? I needed a screen repair on my MacBook Air. My screen is visibly damaged. I just wanted a new screen. I had to pay $80 to be told I need a new screen. I think paying $80 to have someone tell you that you need a new screen is a bit much. When I first came in, I asked what the price range is for a new screen, I actually asked multiple times for a price range. First over the phone when I called, then when I made the drive and came into the store. Was told multiple times they cannot give me a price range. So, I had to hand over $80 for diagnostic, in other words, hand over $80 for us to tell you that you need a new screen. So after the diagnostic of my broken screen, Im told changing the screen on my 4 year old Mac would cost $550. If I was given a price range, knowing that a screen repair could cost up to $600, I wouldve skipped this whole ordeal. Thats not in my price range. My fault though, I shouldve just googled price ranges for screen repair because its easy to find online! I understand charging $80 for an in-depth diagnostic, but why does someone need a diagnostic when their screen is physically damaged and they want to know how much a new screen would cost? They handed me a sheet with the diagnosis on it, which says, multiple cracks on screen. Yes I knew that. Why did I need to give you $80 to tell me theres cracks on my screen. I understand, its all about your policies. But put yourself in the customers shoes. I didnt need any diagnostics done. Just needed a new screen and wanted to know how much that would cost. Wish I could get my $80 back or some of it.

    I went to get my AirPods fixed because they were crackle sounds coming from them, they only checked left airpod, then charged me $99, as soon as I got home checked it, crackle sound still coming from then, now they said the right one needs replaced and trying charge me another $99. This is ridiculous, wouldnt you check both AirPods in your diagnostic when you check it the first time. This is poor business ethic and common sense.

To ensure that this is provided, it is required for us to run Apple’s full diagnostics to provide a full and accurate repair option. Diagnostics are also required through Apple to be run before we can fully know what repair options are available, including certain price ranges for those repairs. We understand that the cost of repairing your computer was more than what you were expecting. As we had discussed with you, the diagnostics charge is applied to the cost of the repair, or if you do not want to go forward with the repair, we also offer to apply the diagnostics cost towards the purchase of a new computer or to recover the data off of your current computer.We do not provide repair quotes before diagnostics to ensure correct information and expectations. We avoid making any assumptions based simply on what appears to be wrong, as there are so many other issues and variables that may be happening with the computer that may not be known about before full diagnostics are run. The last thing we want to do is replace parts without knowing the full story of the computer, with the intent of preventing you or anyone else from having to spend any more than you would need to.We are still willing to help in any way we can. The diagnostic charge is still applicable to whichever route we are wanting to take next. If you have any further questions, feel free to give us a call or stop in whenever it works best for you.

Hi Kunjan. As we discussed yesterday with you, when your AirPods were initially in for service on December 14th, 2023, it was noted that you reported only experiencing audio issues with the left AirPod, and the right AirPod was not having the same audio issues. As per Apple’s diagnostic requirements, and before a repair can be made, diagnostics were run on both AirPods. Only the left AirPod failed, and the right AirPod passed Apple’s diagnostics in December.When your AirPods were checked in again for service yesterday, it was made known that the 90-day repair warranty through Apple only covers the parts that were replaced during that repair. After running the diagnostics yesterday, it was found that the right AirPod is now failing that had previously passed testing three months prior. Since the right AirPod was not part of the previous repair there is no repair warranty for it, and the only option we have through Apple would be to replace it for the out-of-warranty cost, just as we did previously for the left AirPod.We understand the inconvenience of the situation you are in, and did offer to discount the cost of replacing the right AirPod for half the cost of what it normally would be through Apple. You declined our offer and decided to just pick up your AirPods instead. We would still like to help in any way possible, and if there are any further questions please feel free to call or stop in anytime.
