Before you book a room just know you have to pay 15 dollars a day for parking in a small lot. Breakfast was ok staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and seem clean just don't look to hard. It is non smoking but I guess that doesn't apply to marijuana the whole 3rd floor smelled like a bud shop.

The Holiday Inn left lots to be desired. Upon arrival we were asked by another guest if we had seen someone bust out a window. A car had gotten broken into in broad daylight in their parking lot. That deterred us and left us neronervous to leave the car in the parking lot. THERE ARE NO CAMERAS IN THE PARKING LOT FROM THE HOTEL. We were aware of the parking issue due to reading other reviews. Parking was $15 overnight. I personally have never had to pay for parking at any other hotel but understand as this is a downtown hotel with limited parking. There was two parking lots and we personally did not have an issue finding a spot the first two nights in the main lot but did have to park in the side lot the last night of our stay. I asked a front desk worker if they tend to overbook the parking lot and they told us that they do that and it is a very common problem. So if you end up paying for parking do it on a night to night basis versus the whole stay because you may have to resort to street parking if you come back to the hotel later than 6 pm. Once we got to the room it looked very clean upon first look. I went into the restroom which had impeccable lighting but noticed long hairs on the shower wall and black curly hairs behind the bathroom door which seemed to be pubes.. We had no issues with the beds and they had a very nice amount of pillows. Linens were clean and there were enough towels for all four of us. The outlets were loose and they did have outlets to just plug usb ports into but the bottom one on both of the outlets in our room seemed to be crooked and didnt work, so charging our devices was a struggle. The front desk lady our first night was super kind and accommodating even through the chaos she seemed to be getting put through. It looked like she was the only one working and very often would have a line at the front desk because she was being pulled so many directions at once. We tried ringing the front desk a few times to ask about a trash bag and the phones did not work. Breakfast was okay, they had a few hot breakfast items and rotated the eggs during our stay. It was not the best hotel breakfast I have ever had but decent and a good way to start the day. Elevators were slow and one had broken down during our stay. The view from the hallway windows was amazing. There are a ton of little shops around the hotel which is nice. Pretty walkable. You for sure pay for what you get, spend the extra money and stay somewhere else. Do not risk your vehicle or sanity with staying here. We were on edge the entire time. Not a super safe area.

Where to start the internet/wifi doesnt work. Theres also a picture of a beautiful garden on Google maps affiliated with them and its not here!! How misleading!! We came back to our room and housekeeping was never performed. I had to call and when I did, they offered to bring up towels and a plunger!! Nobody did anything!! And paying for parking in a hotel is ridiculous!! $15 a day and and youre not guaranteed a spot. Also, the pool wasnt open the entire time we were here. Pretty sad I drove 2 1/2 hours to vacation here!! Wish I couldve gotten a refund and went elsewhere!! Area is GHETTO!!!! Dont stay here.
