Not worth the price. Shouldn't even mention they have vegetarian options, they are very cheap ingredients and cheap cooking methods, memable in how sad they were. The regular dishes looked cheap as well, the cheapest cuts of meat in the smallest portions possible. Go somewhere else for your money, you are garunteed to find better! The ambience is very nice as is the service. The wine pairings were great - the wine manager/sommelier is experienced and was very helpful. The restaurant is lucky to have such a talented individual. She was entertaining and personable in addition to her extensive knowledge about wine. It is a subdued, quiet atmosphere with very nice music. The charcuterie platter was very good. Unfortunately, the food from the kitchen is disappointing - especially for the price. The salad was simply shredded cabbage with what tasted like bottled Asian chili sauce. The ribs appetizer was ok, but not great. The main course - chicken piccata - is one of the simplest dishes to make in the world, yet here it was awful. We sent both of our main courses back uneaten. (There was no mention of compensation or remedy for this, which was not surprising given the small venue.) The sauce was very, very thick with what seemed to be barely cooked flour. The flavor was very sour without being particularly lemony (odd situation there), and it was also too salty. The ice cream for dessert was fine - and the chocolate cake was certainly edible. For $300 for two people, this experience was a disappointment. The unfortunate thing is that this restaurant has amazing potential but fails on the most important thing a restaurant is meant to provide - really good food.

What an experience. My husband and I loved the dinner, I enjoyed the wine pairing. The staff was kind, attentive and explained everything regarding the menu as the courses were served.

We had a wonderful time at Fourk Kitchen Reno! Over the holidays we wanted to have a special family dinner. Based on recommendations from friends we decided to spend it at Fourk. We weren't disappointed :) We loved the 'pre-fixe' menu....just be seated and relax. Manager Jessica really goes above and beyond making sure every guest has a meal to remember.

About
Fourk Kitchen Reno

Fourk was created by Executive Chef, Restaurateur and 24-year Military Veteran Paul Jansen. Paul started his culinary journey in 2015 when he left his corporate career of 14 years to start his successful wine bar & tapas concept Citizen Vine. Four years later Paul created Fourk Kitchen, a restaurant concept created to change the way people think about a four-course dining experience, which is usually expensive and sometimes intimidating. Instead of a once or twice a year special occasion, Paul designed Fourk to be an approachable & unique monthly date night. The experience at Fourk is truly unique and very interactive. The night starts out with a happy hour from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Promptly at 6:30 p.m. dinner service starts.
