Dear Ritchie,It is unfortunate we never talked prior to your review. I had only communicated with your associate. The art sent to us on two separate occasions was not in a useable vectored format, first date of 10/22. We then asked for vectored art and received another image with a totally different design than the first request on 11/7. This started the process of quoting over. This art was also not in an acceptable format for the kind of sign being requested by your associate (A custom channel letter sign with a design element in the center on a raceway to be affixed to an existing structure). We proceeded to do a site survey at your location the week of the 15th to get the correct measurements for the raceway that needed to be built, and determine what size of sign would be allowable. Our designer put in hours of design time, to try and get the art to an acceptable format and the correct art …for which we have never billed you. The bid was sent to our subcontractor to quote on 11/15 as we do not manufacture electrical signs in house. I stated in my first conversation with your associate, that once we receive the correct art it is a 6-8 week process from quote, to manufacturing, to installation. I followed up with our subcontractor weekly for the next 3 weeks to see if the quote was ready. You wrote this review the day I received the quote and had already gone to another contractor without any communication. When at your location for another client we noticed that you purchased a simple circular cabinet sign which was never requested by you or your associate to our company and would have been much easier to quote and manufacture. I am sorry we were not able to communicate with you directly as it sounds like your are the decision maker and it did not work within your timeline.
