Ernie filed my 2021 taxes incorrectly. In 2021, I worked at two companies; one for the first half of the year and one for the second half of the year. To my knowledge at the time of submittal, I assumed taxes were filed correctly. This year, I received a letter from the IRS that only half of my 2021 income was accounted for on my 2021 filings. Upon reaching out to Ernie, he took no accountability regarding the issue. He proceeded to tell me that only received one W-2. However, since the tax documents were submitted to a virtual dropbox folder that he has control of, he has since erased the 2021 documents from the folder. I have no way to verify what was truly submitted. Regardless of this, it is disturbing that at a minimum that he as a certified CPA would not verify with me that I intended to only be reporting income for half of the year prior to submitting the filings. As a result the situation, I now owe $3,500 in taxes to the IRS. Ernie has stopped responding to all texts and phone calls regarding the situation, which is extremely unprofessional and frankly disrespectful. This has been excruciatingly frustrating; not only to learn that I still owe money to the IRS from 2021 but the blatant lack of interest to help rectify the situation on Ernie's end is mind boggling. I strongly suggest you look else where to file your taxes to avoid putting yourself in a similar situation.

Ernie Tomkiewicz performed with highest marks! This tax season was a mess for me, a single guy who moved from MA to NH to attend grad school in my 50s. I had multiple addresses, and a few W2 forms with sporadic income. Ernie replied to my email inquiry within 24 hours, and communicated clearly what I could provide to tackle my 2021 taxes.
