Stratham Tire

Eric, Jamie and the entire Portsmouth Stratham tire team are great putting customers first and going out of their way to help when possible. Ive been going to them for years but recently had two major things happen and they got me back on the road fast. The first one was a tire blow out on the highway, I got it over the shop same day and done in a couple hours back to work. The second was another mechanics shop did very unsafe work leaving my wheel hubs with loose or missing bolts. Eric worked with his guys to get it safe, back on the road and worked with the other vendor to help advocate for me on reimbursement and help with the vendor giving issues. I would recommend them to anyone in the area. They go above and beyond expectations.

I purchased a set of Hankook truck tires (8k) that was not the tire I asked for but what the salesmen recommended. The new tires made my truck shake at 34-38mph. The truck was dropped off several times to have the tires looked at. Each time losing days of work. They told me after the third time back that I could take it up with Hankook Warranty. Or, for an additional 4200, they would replace them. I would strongly discourage trusting these guys.

I agree with a prior comment regarding ownership getting greedy/price gauging! I must first mention that Eric and Jamie are the 2 main employees at the Portsmouth location. They both are fantastic and great at what they do, but probably not enough to keep me coming back when there are less expensive opportunities for goods and services. Eric part owner (not to be confused with employee Eric) and other siblings own the business and continue to raise prices. I have 5 vehicles and all the prices I list here are 100% actual. The pricing charged for a 4 tire seasonal change over (includes balancing) Feb 9, 2023 $109, Dec 14 2022 $105, May 2022 $85, Dec 2021 $80, so in 14 months an increase of $29 or 36%. The coupon for state inspection no longer exists, which previously had been on their website for at least 3 years. That coupon had me coming back year after year and in return most of my tire needs were performed by Stratham. Goodbye Stratham! I will be sure to pass this around to my family and friends as I always was an advocate for your business with them in the past. Your Loss!
