Learn from the absolute BEST there is - Eric has changed the service game. I have 20 years experience as a Customer Service executive for luxury brands such as Tiffany & Co, Barneys NY, and David Yurman - believe me when I tell you - Eric is the best out there. It is the authenticity and eloquence with which he shares his incredible wealth of knowledge and deep understanding of the human psyche that blows you away. He has mastered the ability to present you with what you need before you know yourself, and he does so with such great ingenuity and ease. Eric is an exceptional human who has the unique ability to transmit genuine warmth and connection, in a professional context. We met at a restaurant he was managing, but through the experience of being a customer, we became friends... in a genuine sense. He was able to create a magical dining experience, time and again, for a wide range of guests in a very challenging situation. The Valdivieso Method PDF book isn't cheap, but nothing has ever opened my eyes, and helped me to understand the real meaning of my work as a waiter, until now. So, I felt it was my responsibility to write this review and share my input about this book with other waiters, bartenders, and future waiters and bartenders. After reading Erics book I realized why he was arguably the highest paid server to ever work in a restaurant. He wasnt like the rest. He was playing a different game. Saying different things. Behaving differently than almost every other server (including myself) you had ever seen or met before; and then people were naturally drawn to him. As a result, they tipped him big. Guests tell their friends and they tell theirs and his tribe just grew and grew. He shows you his methodology and blueprint for how he achieved his results, year after year. The book exposes all of his serving secrets that helped him amass a small fortune, by asking the right questions, and connecting to the core of his guests by satisfying their hierarchy of needs. So interesting. In the book he writes, ...in all my years Ive never been to an amazing restaurant that didnt have champions working on the dining room floor. Without service champions, there would never be amazing restaurants. Service, is everything! And that made me feel so good, because I think so too, but you never hear anyone ever talking positively about us, the way he does in his book. I feel hes on a mission to build a tribe of the best waiters and bartenders in the industry that he can find. Because he cares so much about this industry. I believe that he wrote the book to help other service professionals learn how to get some respect from owners and managers, have a better quality of life, make more money, and ensure that people regard what it is that we do as being just as important as rocket science. As long as you do it the right way. He shows you how! Money well spent. And, using his methods I have already made all of my money back in my very first shift. Now, its time to hit six-figures. As I get closer to that, Im certainly going to hire him and his personal coaching services. I can only imagine how good they must be.
