The food in Newark Airport is embarrassingly terrible. The options are limited and prices are ridiculously over the top. That said, this spot is one of best of an awful lot. But don't kid yourself. It doesn't compare to a real Italian deli. Your meatball sandwich will be prepared with all of the precision and care of a cafeteria worker. Mangia!

The pasta salad tasted like it was 6 days old. The macaroni was hard, I couldnt even eat it as it didnt have any flavor. it was so bland and dry like your 97 years old aunts Thanksgiving Turkey. The pastrami sandwich wasnt terrible but not enough mustard but dry enough that its like eating a box of crackers. I spent over $20 for food that wasnt even good. Save your money travelers.

Very poor ordering process. People come to the counter and have to order through their phone which isn't efficiently designed. Then they get frustrated and go to one of the other options. You're losing big business because you make the ording process combersome at best.

Mediocre food, horrible ordering experience where you need to scan a qr code on a tablet and use your phone (why not just let people use the tablet?!), and god help you if you try to sit at the (empty) ramen bar across the hall while you wait - the only personal interaction with the staff will be while theyre chasing you away.
