        On 4/1/2024 our stay was frightening and horrible. Vice activity in room next to us at the rear of hotel, ground level. Electrical shock received upon check-in looking for the reason why we did not have any lights, missing light bulb was the reason! Refrigerator did not shut properly and was missing freezer cover. No Kleenex and no soap available. Hair dryer was broken and did not work. RODENTS had free access to our room as seen traveling in and out under the door sill (Noticed at 5AM in the morning). We immediately checked out and reported everything in writing to the front desk lady, named Rose. We are writing this review due to the fact that we were never called by the owner or the management of this hotel. We are still waiting for the return of the ridiculous security deposit we were forced to pay, along with an apology from this hotel. Mr. and Mrs. Red Roof Inn, Albuquerque, NM 87107 .We are still waiting as you brought this complaint upon yourself.

        The young lady at the front desk, made me feel like I was bothering her, when we were checking in. Too busy on her phone. Extremely clean rooms. Rooms: Extremely clean.

        This is one of the nicest red roof inns Ive ever been to. They accommodated our weird travel schedule & it was a clean place. Yes there are homeless people around outside but never felt in danger even walking to the gas station for snacks. U-Haul was safe overnight in their parking lot

I am terribly sorry that you experienced a number of inconveniences regarding the working order of the appliances and electronics in your room. Regarding the deposit, in accordance with our policies, we were required to charge a security deposit. The amount is released upon check-out, once an inspection of the room has been made; however, it can take within 5-7 business days to appear on your account, depending upon your financial institution. Nonetheless, your comfort and convenience are our top priority, and we are addressing your comments with our staff and re-evaluating our guest service policies to ensure that a similar situation does not occur in the future.It is always our goal to give you a 5-star experience, and I apologize for failing to do so. I hope that we will impress you with exemplary service during future visits.
