Recently took a loan out with them via a loan check by mail. This is my second one and had paid my last one off in full and was never late. I read the terms and signed the check which confirms I agreed to the loan and then deposit it into my account. I logged on to the online account to verify my payment due date of the 30th of each month. I had been receiving calls from Cynthia but she would not leave a detailed message as to reason for call so I disregarded them knowing I wasn't past due and thinking she was going to offer a higher loan amount. Usually if something is missing for them to process the loan, they will let you know in the voicemails. Today, Cynthia shows up on my doorstep with another female to hand me a letter she could have mailed or emailed that said " Our records indicate you cashed a loan by mail check with us on 9/30. Over the past few days we have tried to reach you by phone to review your loan details and to answer any questions you might have. Please give us a call TO CONFIRM YOUR LOAN". All this time I thought my legal and binding signature and the fact I deposit the check into my bank account, was confirmation enough. At first I liked doing business with Zia. Easy process, easy repayment schedule. The idea they will show up at your doorstep when your payment isn't due or past due is a bit OVER AGGRESSIVE. It will be my main focus now to pay this loan off in the next 2-3 months and close this account.
