-Dr. Martinez violated me during an exam, yelled at me when I was fully sobbing and complaining that she was hurting me, and was extremely rude when I had explained my concerns initially. She accused me of lying about my medical history (which was all on the online chart if she bothered to look) and refused to explain her treatment plan. She gave me 6 antibiotics and no diagnosis for my symptoms. I think WebMD has more valid medical knowledge than she does. I dont think anything happened to her or that she was disciplined at all; I complained to the clinic director and to the patient advocate and absolutely nothing happened to her. When I contacted billing, the man who helped me said that there was no record of my complaint. Obviously someone bothered to cover up her nastiness. This was last summer. Horrible woman. Do not allow her to treat you. -As for now, they will not allow you to enter the clinic with Covid. I was told I had appendicitis and needed to get to the emergency room immediately; turned out it was a bad stomach flu. Scheduling was difficult because of how condescending the office assistant was. -My first visit was fine (for strep a few years ago). The last two sucked, as detailed above.

I have always been impressed with my visits to LoboCare at UNM. Alice Brown, NP (now retired) and Elsa Konkolics, NP provided me with excellent support and even phone call follow-up when needed. The office staff is kind and efficient- I have never waited more than a few minutes for an appointment. I appreciate their kindness and professionalism and would not hesitate to recommend the LoboCare Team. Thank you!
