Hampton Inn Clovis

Hilton keeps making improvements in its array of brands and price points, and it is becoming increasingly common to find two or more of them combined into one shared complex. I can imagine it being financially expedient to do such, as different customer demographics and needs can be addressed without having to settle for just one option. The Hampton and Home2 Suites in Clovis share an L-shaped four-story building just off NM 209, and only about 10 minutes from downtown. The complex is only two years old, and is in tip-top shape, my room perfectly clean and tidy. And at only $123 on a Friday night, I was very pleased at the value. These shared facilities also benefit hotel guests in that the breakfast room features the combined food offerings they normally have in a stand-alone unit. Thats code for an amazing breakfast spread. Theres no need to go to a restaurant with a breakfast buffet like this! Another thing I have noted about Hilton properties lately is that they are replacing TVs with the same LG model in all of their franchisee properties, all using the same remote control and same hotel operating system. This makes for great consistency in the channels offered, as well as how to simply navigate the machine. As a regular Hilton customer and Diamond member, I love this. I have already committed it to memory. An added bonus of this location is that if you are in need of an outdoor run or walk, theres a sprawling residential neighborhood adjacent, with wide streets and sidewalks in many places. I also drove five minutes north to a nice park outside of town, where I found plenty of space for an hour-long walk. You have options, and if you have a bike with you, just pedal north on 209 on the wide shoulder. Youll be in the boondocks in no time. This property is worth returning to again for sure. Two thumbs up. Rooms: Rooms are spacious and in top-top shape! Walkability: It is very easy to walk or run from the hotel. There are also dining and shopping options within short range.
