Knowing that I really didn't need a real estate agent for a new build, I went ahead and hired Mesilla Valley Property due to the fact that the broker had shown me a home via her phone because I lived in California at the time. I had to rent a property for one year in El Paso, TX, therefore I had to wait until I was ready to purchase a home. I called Mesilla Valley when I was ready to buy a home. I already knew I was going to buy a home with Desert View Homes; therefore, I gave all the information to the broker. I only had a short amount of time to purchase a home, or I would have had to rent for another year. I did find a home with the builder, and I was told that it would be ready in the amount of time that I needed. The broker was supposed to be my eyes and ears in Las Cruces. As it was getting closer to the date that I needed to move, I asked the real estate broker if she could take a drive to the new house and let to let me know what the progress of the new build was. She just told me that it was coming along, unfortunately, that was not the case. Shortly after I spoke with her, the sales agent for the builder called me and informed me that the home was not going to be ready in time for me to move in, but he had another home that is definitely ready for me to move in. I ended up purchasing the other home. The broker only came to the house a few times and showed up at the closing. She really didn't have to do very much and received a nice commission. I didn't even receive a "Thank you" for my business. I have a friend that will be looking to purchase a home here in Las Cruces, and I will not recommend Mesilla Valley.

Jeni & Ruth Ann were the perfect team to help with my first home! They explained every step of the way thoroughly making sure I understood what to expect and how to move forward. While looking for properties, they were diligent about finding out what made a perfect home for me and showed me a variety of options to explore. When visiting properties, they provided their undivided attention and encouraged me to express any likes/dislikes. I felt very comfortable to genuinely consider each property without rush. Once we found the perfect property, Jeni and Ruth Ann were very prompt in providing paperwork and explained the purpose of each page to assure I understood what I was signing. They took their time to listen to my every concern and always reassured me. When it came to closing, I felt their excitement and sincere happiness. They are the most caring, genuine, efficient, and fun people I've ever had the pleasure of working with. They will be my realtors for as long as possible and I will never hesitate to recommend them to anyone!
