Good Samaritan Society - Las Cruces Village

Things were perfect at first. Then they were sold and the billing went to both Sioux Falls and Albuquerque. Sioux Falls takes what they want and forwards the rest. For the past couple of years, always around Oct., I receive a call saying I owe money. Today I was told I havent paid since June. I pay the statement for my mother every month and send it where they tell me. Albuquerque told me they cannot get info from Sioux Falls so, basically, tough luck. Last year I was on the phone daily trying to sort things out and nobody knows anything. If I knew this would happen I never would have put my mother here. Another month. Tried to get an itemized list of payments and received one with figures redacted. Yes, a big bold black line through the figures. More calls . Dont ask Marty for help. He has nothing to do with it.

If zero stars existed. Thats what they would get. My mom died living here a few months ago. Upon move in I informed the manager Marty that independent living was against medical advise. They ignored her diagnosis, her need for physical rehab, care coordination. The next time I saw my mother she looked like a ghost, fragile she was admitted to the icu had stents placed and didnt even tell me. Her Jewelry and money are missing. Beware of sending your loved ones here. I was a horrendous experience.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES HERE! They put a front whenever family is around, but the floors are sticky, clothes go missing. My grandma has been here for a year and we have tried bringing our concerns to staff but they ignore us. My grandma peed herself and they left her without shoes without telling me. She's gotten multiple infections while in there care.
