        Was told that I would be charged $125 dollars for a 20 minute consultation and $325 for a 50 minute consultation, when most of the other lawyers in are willing to do consultations for free. That raised a red flag, would not recommend based on that alone.

      You get what you pay for. Based on my experience & qualifications, my consult fees are in line with the market. Many elite attorneys charge far higher for their consultation fees. That said, if you’re looking for a cheap attorney who handles a high volume of cases, won’t remember your name & will pass off your file to a lowly Associate or paralegal the minute you’re out their door, then that’s not me. If that’s the attorney you’re looking for, then I’d agree I’m not the attorney for you. I tend to cater my practice to middle class, upper middle class or high income clients. It’s kinda like buying a car - there are some who can only afford Kia’s. There are others who can afford BMW’s, Audi’s or a Lexus. If you walk into the BMW dealership & complain about their high prices, you probably shouldn’t have walked into their dealership in the first place. No offense - same thing here.
