This location is HORRIBLE!!! They need to close there doors! WALGREENS headquarters needs to do something ASAP. I have spoken to even the DM and nothing is being done. I have been a certified pharmacy technician for 15 years and I tell you from my days starting out in CVS that this not how you run a pharmacy. First off when e-scripts come in you should be immediately starting to type and processing them. Upon approval from insurance you prepare the med unless otherwise instructed by the customer or RPH (pharmacist on duty). If the prescription doesn't go through for whatever reason you are suppose to contact the customer before they come in at the number provided by the doctor when the script is sent at the beginning. They can take insurance info over the phone to process as well. The only time a prescription should be put on hold and not be ready is if the script comes in with no phone number or wrong phone number. If a customer is expecting a script and it doesnt come through for whatever reason the pharmacist is suppose to call the doctor and get it over the phone. They do not follow up. They never answer the phone. THEY ARE EXTREMELY LAZY......The drive thru is there but either takes forever or is closed. They close the pharmacy 5-10 minutes before lunch. They will watch a line form let people wait so long only to say sorry we are going to lunch. Why not tell a person at the end of the line depending on the length at about 1:20pm "Hey sir, you are my last customer we will be going to lunch at 1:30pm and pay attention to the end of the line...SIMPLE...COMMUNICATE with your customers. What is so hard?? Customers get upset because they aren't being heard, assisted, acknowledged or informed. A simple "I will be right with you".....Sometimes I miss retail pharmacy so I can treat people the way they should be treated after having a 3-5 hrs wait at the doctor. Wait times are outrageous there too. Go to CVS they actually care about customer's experience. Trust me. They come down on there employees. I would go but they aren't contracted to take my insurance Rant over...Have a great day all!

It appears the strategy of a pharmacy technician transferring the call to the pharmacist only to be placed on hold long enough for the pharmacy to close, is a great tactic for them to avoid providing any type of customer service or simply ignore the customer.

A person answered the phone and said they had to ask the pharmacist my question. Ive been on hold for 30 mins, itll ring finally and then a man answers and immediately puts me on hold again, this happened three time. This is ridiculous .
