This place is spacious, well ventilated, and pretty well staffed. I got my eyebrows waxed and am very happy. Price was fair, and a little lower than some other nail salons. Service was very fast and courteous. Convenient location with parking.

I requested dip nails by Ronson. I was informed that he was not there, but that Joe was capable of providing the same service with the same requests. He convinced me to book the appointment. I explained what I wanted up front. Very thin nails, with powder in color #55, very sharp stiletto , and I showed him the length, medium-long. I also requested a soak off for the old nails I had on. He proceeded to physically rip my nails off with nail clippers, even though I told him it was painful and damaging my nails, and asked him to soak them off, again, multiple times. He refused every time. Then I asked for clear straight tips, which Ronson has always provided before. He said he didnt have them. Then I showed him the length I wanted my nails, and he cut them shorter. I expressed that they were too short and he said it was too late and I would have to wait until next time. I asked for the same color I showed him prior to starting the service, and he claimed he didnt have it, even though he never said it was not available when I first asked forvit. He waited until halfway through the service. and used a different color, After the service was complete, he found the color. I asked for my nails to be very thin and he completely refused. I explained I need them thin for me to be able to do my job at work and still he refused. I told him I need the tips very sharp, on 4-5 separate times, and he would not do it. He also cut 3 of my fingers with his clippers and the file , which caused them to bleed. He tried to blame it on me, but I could feel his tools cut me when it happened. He ignored this. His tools were not properly sanitized in barbicide. I am a licensed esthetician in NYS and I know the sanitation rules for salon tools, which were not followed. This puts me at a health risk and is a health code violation. I could get a communicable disease from unsanitized tools. Then he upcharged my service $25 for shaping, even though he did not do the shape I requested. I have never been charged this by Ronson before, and Ronson always shaped my nails perfectly. Now I will need to pay another salon to fix my nails.
