Arlo Williamsburg (Formerly The Williamsburg Hotel)

The fire alarm went on at 6.30 am, then 7.30 then 8.30 on Saturday morning. Then some engineer apologized over a loudspeaker in my room. Weekend ruined!! I went downstairs to talk to the front desk and the manager on duty sent a message that he/she is too busy talking to me and will call me. I never got a call. Other than that tv in the room was not connecting to the phone, the USB by the bed is not working, lights on top of the bed are not working. The restaurant employees have an attitude. Rooms are overpriced and extremely small even for theNew York standards. I won't stay there again.

Hotel review. TLDR - Style over substance. looks nice, the rest terrible. The fire alarm went off 4 times between 6:30am - 8:00am. all while front desk won't answer the phone. then they won't accept late check out due to lack of sleep (!). ROOMS - Tiny, no privacy at the bathroom (#2). strong music from the bar enters the room all night long (weekend). very stylish. SERVICE - Front desk are really rude and won't help with anything at all. don't answer the phone and don't deliver on request they said they will. very clean. there are better hotels around, don't be fool by the beautiful pictures.

This is a review for their rooftop bar. Amazing view, good service, but maybe they are under new management or something as when I came here 2 years ago drinks were amazing, served in glasses, food was good, but this time all the drinks were served in plastic cups! When you're paying 250 dollars minimum spend for 2 people and drinks are expensive you'd expect a proper glass at least. Food was not great either, Crudités dish was just some carrot, cucumber and celery sticks with some dip for 16 dollars! Music was way too loud so we couldn't even talk and that was at 8pm Eventually we had to move downstairs. Disappointing
