        Great customer service. I had two Montclair and two pairs of Ugg boots to have cleaned. As they specialize in both, I took a couple of each to try the service. Apart from the owner taking an age to come to the counter (all four occasions) this is a great dry cleaners imo. I will take other items there soon.

        Henry Ortiz facilitated an extremely difficult repair job on an exceptional shawl from India. This job involved complex reweaving. Henry was responsive, listened and provided expert advice. The result was outstanding. I recommend Cameo strongly

        Person at the front desk looked at me as if I was in the wrong place and immediately started asking questions to make sure I could afford the services. Have you been here before?, did you know were a high end boutique and our prices start at $$$. They didnt ask if I called ahead or how I heard about them. I called ahead and drove out of my way because I wanted a certain level of service. I was attending a destination wedding soon and that day was the cutoff for me to have a buffer before my flight, otherwise I would have left immediately. The person at the front desk spoke with respect once he realized I saw his bias. The cleaning was great but this place is arrogant and quick to judge based on outward appearance. There are other places that do great work in NYC, hopefully none treat people like how I was treated at Cameo. I even emailed the manager from the auto email I was sent. Followed up twice and never got a response.
