"If you're going to change your life, change your life. It's not going to happen here." If you're a fan of great television, then you might be familiar with this famous line from Fleabag. Sure, changing your hair isn't likely going to magically make your life everything that you've hoped for, but it can certainly add some excitement and maybe catalyze some of the energy needed to make those much needed changes (at least that's what I'm hoping, haha). I haven't colored my hair in over 6 years, but I had an itch for change/novelty/excitement/etc. As a non-adrenaline junky, changing my hair felt like the perfect way to scratch that itch. Serendipitously, I stumbled upon Charles, a newer stylist at Unfade Hair Studio. While new to Unfade, Charles has several years of salon/hair experience and I felt like he truly understood my virgin, black Asian hair. I gave him a single inspiration photo and put my hair in his very capable hands. It took 8 hours, lots of foils, a herculean effort by Charles (with some support from others in the salon), and a good book, but I'm very happy with the result! The color is great and I'm honestly surprised by how much lift he was able to get in a single session without much damage. The bronde is just the level of hair novelty I was seeking this summer. I wish I had a Before picture to showcase (I guess just imagine very black, very straight Asian hair), but the After is honestly pretty amazing and hopefully speaks for itself! If you're like me, anxious about big changes but wanting some novelty, I can't recommend Charles and Unfade Hair Studio enough! Services: Haircut, Hair highlighting, Hair coloring, Balayage

Bernice was my hair stylist. She was very friendly, extremely accommodating and spent a lot of time with my hair. I was never really happy when I walked out of any salons in the past. This is my only exception. My balayage was perfect and my hair looked amazing. Love it! Thank you so much, Bernice.

I've gone to Wilson twice to get my hair colored and he works absolute magic! Both times I've gotten silver/lavender hair which can be a hard color to achieve. I've gotten so many compliments each time 1 go. He even got me in for a last minute appointment before my wedding last month! Highly recommend!!
