Bugs in the bed beware! I was told a manager would contact me after they switch my room but did not receive a call.

My room was smaller than on the picture. It's my impression. Should be 15 m. No kettle or trash bin in the room. The staff was nice. Great location.

If I could, I would give it 4.5 stars. It is a great hotel in a convenient spot, and the rooms are great; you have to realize this is a NYC hotel, not a hotel in Orlando, to all the people complaining about the size of the rooms. Has excellent dining and entertainment options in the hotel. Great for young couples looking for a quick weekend getaway. The staff is wonderful, and the property is showing minor wear, but overall, it is great. The only other complaint is that the jackhammer was running nonstop for two days we were here, but that's NYC, not on the hotel. It would have been nice for the hotel maybe to give us a warning...if they were even given a warning.

I really liked this hotel - the price was under $300/night. The room was very clean and a good size (small but that is expected in NYC). The staff was very friendly and there are free water bottles! They have a rrstaurant and rooftop bar, I didn't try but asked the restaurant for silverware once and they were very nice. The location seems very safe and close to shopping, bars and restaurants. The only reason I docked 1 star is because the window (at least in my room) was not sound proof (actually was sealed with duct tape around the edges). As NYC is very noisy, it was difficult to sleep and I absolutely had to wear noise cancelling headphones and an eye mask in order to sleep. Around 9:30pm on my last night, the fire alarm went off for about 2 hours because some one had lit a fire in their room and took the fire department a while to turn it off. Other than that, this hotel was great! Safety: Seems like a very safe part of NYC compared to other areas. Walkability: Was able to walk to my office about 1 mile away on 5th Ave.
