The best pharmacy in the city. Google needs to add more stars just for this place. Wendy is kind, knowledgeable, and legitimately interested in helping you. If you're tired of being insulted and ignored by the staff at Duane Reade or one of the other terrible and dehumanizing chain pharmacies in NYC, you'll find Midwest to be a wonderfully refreshing change. Please walk the extra block, or 10, or 20, to visit Wendy and Midwest Pharmacy. You'll walk out with a smile on your face, a renewed sense of faith in humanity, and a resolve to never give a monstrosity like Duane Reade another dime of your business.

Outstanding! Midwest is the best example of a present day independent pharmacy. When I phoned them I interacted with a human being who took the time to engage with me not a lengthy automated menu to navigate. When I entered their storefront I was greeted by friendly people who patiently listened to me and took action to address my situation. I found Bob and Wendy to be both approachable and thoroughly helpful. They answered all of my questions and expressed thoughtful care concerning my health and wellbeing. To be clear Midwest is not in my neighborhood. However the exemplary customer service is worth making the trip. Thank you Bob and Wendy for the experience.
