I am immensely fortunate to have Mark Gottlieb as my literary agent. Working with Mark has been a pleasure from my first introduction to him at Yale Writers. He is a consummate professional at every level: experienced, skillful, astute, efficient, timely, widely respected, and most importantly, absolutely trustworthy my behalf. I could not ask for a better agent relationship. I am profoundly grateful to have Mark represent me.

February 14, 2016 was not just Valentine's Day for me, it was the day that I pitched literary agent, Mark Gottlieb of Trident Media Group at the San Francisco Writers' Conference. I had already begun to query agents, regarding my epic fantasy series for adults. I'd had positive responses and requests for synopses and partials. But then I met Mark Gottlieb at SFWC and I changed my perspective on who would be the right fit for me. After pitching my book to him, he requested a full manuscript. His response was what any author hopes for, enthusiastic with an offer of representation. My review of Mark's track record, along with that of the larger agency, confirmed what I already intuitively knew, this was the right fit for me. Within three months of signing, Mark had sold not just my first book, but my trilogy. With the third book in the series in the works, I can say that Mark has been my greatest advocate throughout the publishing process. The learning curve for a debut author is long and steep, but knowing that I can rely on Mark has made it possible for me to not work to complete this series, but consider what might come next.

Mark Gottlieb agreed to be the agent for my third novel, The Apollo Deception, 48 hours or so after I queried Trident. He sold it to a publisher, and the audio rights as well, as if my name were Patterson and not Mitch Silver. He's continued to be an active presence as the book makes its way to publication this fall. I don't know what more he could have done for the book. Or for me. Mitch Silver

Mark is a brilliantly knowledgable agent with amazing patience and professionalism! He got me my dream book project almost as soon as I started working with him, and has helped so much with contracts, explaining how publishing works, and just making it all simple. He just ‘gets’ my work and is very encouraging and enthusiastic about it! Mark’s approachable and down to earth, but also incredible at what he does. Looking forward to working with him more on future projects!
