It is an old-world as well as modern shop where service is at its best. The company makes well constructed shoes paying attention to details to make the shoe as perfect as possible. Its other very important asset are its staff: they are the company's best ambassadors! They advice customers as to the best shoe for them, if requested, they explain the fit to you. They are professional incedibly patient. Jose with whom I dealt yesterday and Owen and Yessim with whom I have dealt at other occasions have been excellent. They are the reason I leave with shoes that I purchase and wear and love afterwards. ----------------------- I had the pleasure of revisiting Mephisto and I can say without any doubt that it is the place that understands feet and the anatomy of the foot that any other shoe store I ever visited! Wearing its confortable yet elegant shoes has given me new freedom! It allows me to look good, and not to worry about my feet. It is by all means an incedible feeling and I have to thank Owen for this. He patiently went through several pairs of shoes I liked explaining to me their structure and letting me try them on til I found the one that fitted me best and looked the best! It is this kind of service and attention to detail that makes Mephisto and its ambassadors like Owen so exceptional, so one of a kind store.
