There are undoubtedly some gems to be had, but the lack of organization is frustrating. Everything is arranged by color on packed racks. No sections for jackets or T-shirts etc to help organize. ALL things that go on the upper half of the body are stuffed together by color. No attempt to organize by size. It means you have to wade through everything. Its also super dark in there, which makes it hard to scan items for defects or stains. I recommend Crossroads nearby for a much more organized and focused store.

Places like this have really gone downhill when it comes to the buying. Its clear the buyers have not done much research and do not know good quality. I walked in with 5 Loro Piana jackets and suits, one of the most valuable and high quality luxury custom Italian clothiers in the world. These suits sell for about $4,000-$6,000 retail and were rejected by Beacons because business causal doesnt really represent their brand maybe if the clothing was good quality from an extremely well known high quality luxury brand, it would. Not to mention I signed up to do a present buy, but when my name was called they had already gone through everything. Was very disappointed with the experience.

The experience was not pleasant, to say the least. I walked in to sell the clothes/ shoes as the store opened. The first 15 minutes or so I have been witnessing the associates mingling together behind the counter and talking about personal stuff, TMI honestly, please do not discuss personal stuff in front of the customers. Instead of taking care of them. I signed up to be present for the sale. You are not really present. They only call you at the end as a matter of fact saying they took/ did not take anything. I had really nice brand new Fryes, Doc Martens, Vince shoes, they did not take anything citing their shoe department is overstocked, fine, maybe say it in the beginning, or as a door sign, so people do not have to drag stuff inside?? At the same time, the selection on the shelves that I did see while waiting was way below the level of quality of what I brought in. The brands were not all vintage, for sure. I am confused. Also the place is cramped. Clothes are hung so tight you cannot even browse honestly. And there's no space around the isles for people to squeeze by. They should either limit the amount they show or expand for the sake of better experience.

I used to love selling and shopping at this location, but they are becoming very inconsiderate of their sellers time. Today I waited almost 2h for a present buy (which is no longer present as they call you when they are done - what is the point? It was not like that before). The problem was not even that they didnt take anything - it happens. The problem was making me sit and wait almost 2h, only to tell me that they are too full. That sounded like a bs excuse, so I asked what exactly they were buying if they are so full. They said, like to another reviewer, that they are looking mostly for vintage and designer stuff. Yet they made me wait instead of telling me that right at the beginning. I called the buyer out on that and he didnt know what to say. He apologized, but this treatment was very unprofessional - and, judging by other reviews, Im not the only one. They are not the Real Real. I had better luck at Buffalo Exchange. Also - the merch they are selling at the moment is overpriced. Most of it is not worth the price tag.
