This review is for the customer service -- depending on who you speak to, the employees on the phone can be quite nice, but there are also employees who should never be in a customer-facing position. If you ask them to follow up with details about a particular product or question, you can guarantee that this will not happen.

Gudrun should hire Helga! Corporate couldnt come back with a better rebuttal to Heidis disappointment with the sheerness of some of the fabrics, especially in the winter collections. But I too, stand with Heidi. Layering should not be a requirement to make a garment usable. For me, Gudruns line is not inexpensive, and to put together an outfit suitable for central New York winters isnt practical on any level. A fabric density rating would be most helpful. I made that mistake once - that dress had the thinnest fabric and totally sheer, even in black. Even a turtleneck beneath wouldnt help. I do have 2 heavier woven linen dresses that are nice, but as much as I wash them, they still havent reached that nice stage where you can wear em without ironing, which is difficult with my disability. Id love to see more of the cotton fabric in the picture - it feels great on, washed and dries wonderfully - I iron the hem on a clean lightbulb if needed. I dont get in a twist regarding whether the Indian cotton is organic anymore. Modi himself threw a spanner in that program, so I assume its not.
