Sunglass Hut

I was there a couple Friday and customer service was terrible. I just wanted to exchange/return an item and it took almost an hour. System was apparently not working properly, on top of the manager giving us a free show of how she yelled at some guy just because he wanted to return his item for a second time or something. And also her kicking a customer out because we were at full capacity… which is completely understandable but the way she did it was VERY VERY rude. Energy in the store was bad, and not pleasant to shop around.

I will never be buying sunglasses from any Sunglass Hut ever again. I went into the store on a Tuesday, purchased 2 sunglasses totaling $300+. 1 pair was to be shipped to my house and the associate told me that it would be arriving in 2 business days. 2 business days passed and I never received any confirmation from Sunglass Hut that my order had been shipped. When I called the store they had no record of my purchase and asked me no less than 6 times whether I was sure that I made the purchase in store or not. They told me to call the Corporate number to have them look into the situation but when I did call, the Corporate number was not active because they had closed early that day. When I called the next morning I sat on the phone with a representative for 45 minutes and they were not able to tell me anything other than this was a "unique situation" and that they did not know how to resolve it. They then informed me that I would need to take a refund for the sunglasses and then re-purchase because the order was never processed in their system. While they said that, the money had already been posted to my credit card, so clearly they took my money but had no intention of actually completing the order. I am extremely disappointed with the overall customer experience and would highly recommend avoiding this company and just purchase directly from the sunglass companies.
