Café Arthur's

Cafe Arthurs is a long time establishment in Winston. Similar to a diner, its an unassuming consistent place to go. Food is usually decent, and staff is friendly enough. Recently however, ownership has changed and I would say theyve done a good job keeping the charm while updating some things. Only negative is that menu prices have gone up noticeably. Just a few months ago you could get lunch for $10-12 and now it is $18-20. Also the new credit card surcharge is 4% which seems high. I totally understand theyre running a business too, but last I checked merchant processing fees were 2.5-3% so it feels a little high. I gave 3 stars.

Under new ownership. Prices have gone up a little but still a great place. Quick service and friendly staff. Beer and wine served along with delicious desserts. Kids menu has a good selection. Parking: Parking can get tight around the front of the building but usually can find a spot in back or closer to PBs. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu has 10 options and a lot of sides, not all fried.

$10 for a breakfast sandwich and I have literally watched roaches fall out of the ceiling tiles at this place. With that, I expect a cheap but solid breakfast sandwich, but these people are out of their MFin minds.

Arthurs is a classic diner with diner food. The food is hardy (try a meat lovers omelette) and truly American (try Arthurs version of a chicken fried steak). Portions are hefty (try their Chicken pot pie)! Arthurs will satisfy you.
