Tiger Kim's World Class Tae Kwon Do Centers

Master Kim brought his first school to our area over 25 years ago with the understanding that training in Tae Kwon Do is much more than just the physical aspect of our training. We are a self-defense martial art, so the physical health benefits are easier to see. We train the whole body, not focusing on just the dominant side of the body. Although developmentally, Tae Kwon Do has equal benefits for children and adults; it is excellent for our youngest students. We are training barefoot and putting equal attention on our dominant and non-dominant sides of the body. Our students will see increased balance and coordination as they progress in their training. Equally important to our training are our black belt philosophies that instill essential life skills. We start with the basics with our youngest students with our focuses. As our students progress, we move on to higher-level concepts such as goal setting, perseverance, and confidence. Our goal is for our students to take the increased strength and confidence they gain on our mats and apply them to any challenge they may face. Our motivation is watching our students overcome challenges and meet their goals. We are grateful to our families for allowing us to share our knowledge, and this can be seen in the care that we show in our school and in every interaction we have with them.We are excited to see you again.

Tae Kwon Do is a self-defense martial art that works on both the physical conditioning of the body and life skills development that comes from our Black belt philosophies. Our goal is for our students to see gains in much more than just their physical conditioning. Our black belt philosophies teach focus, self-control, and confidence. Our goal is for our students to take the increased strength and confidence they gain on our mats into all areas of their lives. I agree with the de-stressing; even as an adult, nothing beats a target drill day to let off some steam. We are a traditional school so our Black belt philosophies are equally important to our curriculum. We teach our students concepts such as focus, goal setting and confidence. We want to equip our students with the ability to take their increased strength and confidence into any future challenge.
