This place is HORRIBLE. My business had an issue come up with the IRS and the CPA we were working with at ATLAS never filed a letter he said he would file. Eventually after waiting a YEAR for him to file the ONE letter, the IRS came back and rejected it because it wasn't filed in due time. Now it's costing me THOUSANDS of dollars to fix and ATLAS refuses to fix it without charging additional fees.

I just had to fire Atlas CPAs and Advisors because they did not care about my small business and their attention to detail with tax filings was unacceptable. They filed it incorrectly and they were incapable of doing book reconciliation for my business. I'm not sure what kind of business they are trying to run but it is certainly not an accounting company I recommend anyone go with. They used to be better but when they became Atlas, I noticed it kind of went down the drain from there. I wish them luck but they get a 1 star from me.

I have been unable to resolve a state tax return issue for three months now, and have had little success in getting anyone in the office to respond to calls or emails, despite multiple attempts. Very disappointing, unprofessional service. I finally had to take time off work to visit the state Department of Revenue to resolve the issue myself. They found the filing to contain errors which they corrected to resolve the question and issue my refund. Im not sure what I am paying for with accounting and tax services if they make multiple errors and leave them to me to fix.

If you have a small business, do not use them. Sheldon Reder was fantastic. However, the place has become an absolute mess since Atlas took over. For mine and other business, its been nothing but forgotten filings, taxes filed incorrectly, horribly delayed/late filings, and misinformation. Some of their staff cannot even figure out whether or not a filing has been accepted. They cannot get 1099s out on time (its July). The issues are stupefying and too bad. As stated, Sheldon Reder was great to work with. This review is based on my own experience in 2022 and the experiences of few of their other clients (now also former) in 2023. After learning other people were having major problems with them still, a year after the merge, I felt I should warn fellow businesses and non profits. I do hope things improve for them. If I hear theyve improved, Ill remove this post. Until then, the potential small business or non profit client should probably find another tax company.

We've been using their services for several years for our yearly taxes. Tyler is wonderful! We get great service for a reasonable price. I highly recommend Atlas CPAs!
