I've had much better experiences at other salons. I was also supposed to have a 60 minute service that only lasted 40 minutes. Just not worth it.

This review is not about the space or the staff, just the fact that the gel, even with the Luminary to strengthen it, does NOT LAST. I have had dip on my nails for years and years. I typically go 4 whole weeks without a chip, and then get them redone. I decided to try The W Nail Bar Ohio City to give my nails a break from the dip and visit a nail salon in my immediate neighborhood. The space is very chic and I really enjoyed the girl who did my nails (Arya- spelling?). She did a great job and was very attentive to details, but within FIVE days, the gel manicure was wrecked. Totally chipped, I ripped it all off. Back to my normal dip nails because I just can't fathom paying that amount of money for nails that don't last. I will go back for pedicures though, because the one I received there was great!
